      I have installed the latest Joomla along with the current version of Fireboard. Recently I ran a test on the "new account" system and found two issues to deal with.

      The first is that once the new registration is filled out and you click submit, the site takes you immediatley to the home page instead of the "account created" page. AND no email is sent to the new account holder in order to activate their account.

      I followed a string on here by James that mentioned adding <jdoc:include type="message" /> above <jdoc:include type="component" /> in the template index.php but to no avail.

      I have also tried every possible setting under "Mail Settings" in the Global Settings section of the site, also to no avail.
      1. The "php mailer" gives me this error: "Can not antitiate mailer"
      2. The "Send Mail function" tells me it has sent the emails, but I never recieve any
      and I am not to sure how to set up the SMTP.

      The site does create the account, but does not redirect to a confirmation page OR send a confirmation email.

      Any thoughts team ?
