Admin Password Not Working

After 2 complete attempts at installation of the Versatility 1.5.9 version of RocketLauncher, I cannot access the administrator section of the installation.
The administrator login tells me my password and username don't match. I've tried the MYSQL directions for changing the password, but no luck.
Anyone else having password problems immediately after installation?

hi,
how about this:
UPDATE `jos_users` SET `password` = MD5( 'admin' ) WHERE `jos_users`.`username` = "admin" ;
put that in your sql tab using phpmyadmin
then use:
username: admin
password: admin

- Ick - are you sure it's 5.0? The whole PHP5.0 series was notoriously buggy and insecure - upgrade if you have the opportunity or you will likely not see the end of problems like this. It's likely not going to immediately fix this problem for you, but it will fix a LOT of other issues you're likely to face.

- Never really figured this one out, but think it was a corrupted Joomla install or database. Re-installed everything from scratch and now works fine. Thanks to everyone for their assistance.

- This happened to me, but I remembered that in the installation, it asked me for a password. So in the end it was admin with the password I entered.
