Rocketlauncher installation

Hi: I want to use rocketlauncher to do my installation on my server - Dreamhost. Normally I would just use the install through dreamhost, but understand that if I do this I will not be able to use the sample data from the package and that it will just be a generic layout. Anyhow, I did get the instructions on doing this and unzipped the package, uploaded it and then navigated to the folder:
www.jimfidler.com/newsite/Joomla_RT_Perihelion_j15/
but instead of getting a installation screen I just get a directory of the files contained in the folder. Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong?

It looks like the upload process is incomplete, that directory it missing several folders.
I suggest deleting the current Joomla_RT_Perihelion_j15 folder, uploading the zipped Rocket Launcher and extracting it on your server.
You can extract the package to the 'newsite' folder, no need to have newsite/Joomla_RT_Perihelion_j15/
You can also extract the zip file directly to the root, htdocs or public_html - Thanks,

Ciao Jem,
following lot of guides and tutorial around the web i was getting crazy trying to install Rocket Launcher and u solved me the problem in a second with your previous post.
Just to confirm, i did like this:
- i downloaded and installed MAMP
- I installed joomla putting the folder in htdocs on MAMP
- i saw the template but it was not like the demo so i decided to install Rocket Launcher
- I was confused with lot of tutorial about FTP, add in firefox and host address and etc..
- I saw your previous post and i just deleted the previous forlder Joomla from htdocs and i dropped in the unzipped file of rocket launcher
- With MAMP i followed the same installation procedure and at the end i found the new template, like the demo.
Did i do correct?

I'm newbie and try to follow the above tutorial with no luck. I'm using mamp and dominion theme trying to install the template like the demo (Joomla_RT_Dominion_j15). I put my templates on 'sites' folder and changed the ports following the tutorial at www.youtube.com/profile?user=balootisme#p/u/26/EaPivY-CGZo . Therefore I've changed Apache ports to 80 and mysql port to 3306.
Can you help me as I'm trying to have the template working since last Monday?

I don't know about MAMP, I use XAMMP.
In XAMMP, the template files should be extracted to 'htdocs' or a sub-folder of 'htdocs' if you plan to run more than one install.
