HELP!! Website deleted, DB available! Restore??

- Have biiiiggg problam... Somehow web site is missing with 1.0 jooomla + Synapse. Is there anyway to restore website by instaling compoents, rocketluncher and connect with DB to have conent? Would be very greatfull for explanation how to do it!!!!

Hum, I'll try to contact them tomorrow but don't really think they will help. Just in case they will not be able, still would be happy if anyone would explain how to restore web is possible when only DB is left.

Still need help!! They told there is no public_html files, so they cant restore
But DB exist so maybe there is any chance?????

hi tomas,
first thing to do is get a backup of your database. when your site just disappeared like that, then maybe you got hacked or your host has some major technical problem. i can't think of any other reason, why a site would suddenly be gone.
so a backup of your database is the first thing to do now.
i also think that you should probably look for another host...
then create a all new database, then run a rocketlauncher install with this new database.
this will give you a copy of the demo site including all extensions and the demo data.
then in your global configurations in the joomla backend, you can point the joomla install to use your old database. (you will of course not have the demo data anymore, because that's in the other database.)
in the future, make sure to regularly backup your site (1. the joomla files and 2. your database).
joomlapack is a great program to use for that. www.joomlapack.net

- Thank you kat! I\ll try to do that. I tryed that without a sample data and tere was error after installation that could not connect to database. The problam was that somehow probaly I deleted the web site after mistake connect to not my personal website...
