SOLVED: drop down menu not working in Google Chrome

on the demo site this is working fine in google chrome, but not on my site.
I have a contact us drop down on the main menu with the nexus theme.
The drop down has two links, both of which appear fine in firefox and internet explorer. However the downward pointing arrow and the drop downs don't show up on Google Chrome.
Any ideas?

I think it is a glitch in google chrome. when I go to my site from a bookmark it doesn't work properly, but if I type in
www.mysite.com
(which hasn't been remembered by chrome) everything looks fine. This is even after I have cleared browsing data.
What do you think?

I wasn't clearing my entire cache. chrome had the it set to only clear the last day of cache, so when I changed that setting to clear "Everything" it fixed everything.
