HELP!!! Template styles, modules etc only appear on frontpa

HELP!!! Template styles, modules etc only appear on frontpage of the website. The other pages are void of template styling and no modules appear on any other page. Other pages display my xhtml content set against a white background.
I deleted the entire contents of the www directory and did a fresh rocket launch install, i did keep my original database. And the problem still remains.
It does this with any default joomla template too.
The site worked fine and the next day the problem appeared by itself??
Any Ideas appreciated.

Basic Core SEF:
If joomla is in the root; htdocs, or public_html...
In Global Configurations, Search Engine Friendly URLs Yes, Use Apache mod_rewrite Yes, Add suffix to URLs No.
Change htaccess.txt to .htaccess.
If it’s in a folder, you need to change the # RewriteBase / to reflect the path of your site.
Change:
# RewriteBase /
to:
SEF enabled?
RewriteBase /(the name of the folder joomla is in)
If that doesn't work, search or post here:
forum.joomla.org/viewforum.php?f=544
