    Unable to Install Sample Data

    • Hi,

      I'm a newbie trying to learn. I'm trying to install the RocketLauncher with the demo sample data. I got through all the steps 1-5 fine. When on step 6, I click "Install sample data", the hour glass icon on my mouse pointer keep showing up. I wait 30 minutes, but the hour glass still there. Unsure of whether I've install the sample data, I continue to step 7 and finish the installation.

      After delete the "installation folder", I tried to view the site, I get the "Database Error: Unable to connect to the database: Could not connect to MySQL"

      My question is.

      1.) Did I install the sample data correctly?
      2.) If not, what did I do wrong?

      Any help will be appreciated.

    • maybe call your hosting company to see if there is a database problem. when you click on "install sample data" that should do the trick... good luck!
