Hi guys!
Please help me out with this. i am a total beginner with joomla and after being so happy that i managed to install it, i messed things up big time.
I already have a web site hosted (i wanted to keep online till the new one is ready), that i manage through Cpanel. I wanted to make a new website with Joomla and bought a rockettheme template. I installed Joomla directly from Cpanel into mysite.ro/joomla.
After downloading the template, i had problems editing the logo and from there on things got really confusing. I didn't have permission to upload the new logo, though i am pretty sure i did it correctly (i've been watching tutorials and forums ever since).
Now i was trying to uninstall joomla and start all over again but i get this through my cpanel: "Could not remove install directory: Permission denied"
I don't have access any more to the administration panel from joomla, when i browse mysite.ro/joomla nothing appears. My cpanel file manager is now a mess, my old website is not online any more, and after 2 days not sleeping at all, my head is also a mess.
Please, could someone help me out?

This is a host setup issue.
They will need to chown your files as they most likely have mis-configured your site.
If you have a ftp ID can that ID mange any of these files from a ftp client? - Magento - phpBB3 - Kunena - RokBridge Specialist

Yes, i can manage the files from Cyberduck (i am using a mac). Does that help? i just want to put my old site in public_html and uninstall/delete joomla, so i can start over again.
1. i don't have permission to delete joomla files or change permission
2. Can i manage permission through my ftp server Cyberduck?
3. And what files should my public_html contain so that my old site can be online? (i put all my old site files into a folder and moved it to "/etc")

First step is to get your host to fix your permissions issues.
It might be a simple setting they overlooked.
They will be able to chown your files back to you. - Magento - phpBB3 - Kunena - RokBridge Specialist

you might want to ask the developers of that template for support, it is not one of ours.
