    • I need to change servers and tried joomlapack/akeeba, but I am constantly getting database issues. Did not get a response on their forum yet.

      Can anyone help and tell me the best or software to backup and restore a complete joomla site without any hick-ups????

      I' d reaaly appreciate it. I nned to do this like asap.

      I dont think there is a 100% non hickup free backup program for Joomla! The way i normally backup my sites are a tarball of the joomla directory. Then i create an export/mysql dump of the database.

      On the new server i unpack joomla into the new directory and upload the database into the new server.

      In the configuration.php i set the new file paths and database user and name.
