vertigo template problems

dear all at the joomla forum,
i have the vertigo template installed on my domain looking splendid - but, there is a problem with the contact form - it is not sending any mails - is there maybe an update for this template, that i need???
also: the "search" module isn't working.
your help is appreciated, thanks, beate

hi there,
regarding the emails, i suggest that you get in contact with your host, they should be able to give you the correct details that you have to add to your joomla global configuration.
about the search, would be good to have a link to your site so we can take a look.

re. contact form mail probs - we have checked config via website-host. all ok. we can send massmail via admin, but not through the contact form. we are using sendmail - config there is all ok. we tried also with a different website with the same script - also works. therefore we believe it could only be the template?!?! also, after using the contact form and sending it off - you won't get a page generated, that the enquiry has been sent. - FYI - i am translating that from german from the info my web-specialist gave me...link to the contact form is: www.safariscout.com/kontakt
