    • Hi guys, I have just uploaded the rocket launcher through my ftp as per the tuitorial, the only part that is giving me trouble is how to create the databases.Am using the mysql wizard in my cpanel. It would be great help if you could also answer the following concerning the same.

1.the database name I use inn the msql wizard is the same I use in the joomla setup for the database name option?

    • Yes, create the database first, and name it whatever you like.

When you get to screen 4 of the install, (along with the other info) enter the database name of the database you created.

    • 'Refusing'?

Only guessing here without more details, but it could be your php.ini memory limit is set too low.

Check in your CP, find php configuration settings, and check the memory limit.

Many shared hosting services set their defaults at 8MB, but for most templates, 32MB is recommended, 64MB is optimal.

Anyway, check and see if you can increase the limit to at least 32MB.

Also check which PHP version you are running, should be some version of 5, not 4.

As far as not being able to see the control panel items, again I can only guess that something happened during the FTP process and some files were missed or corrupted.

So the course of action here should be:

      A) Bump the memory limit to at least 32MB, make sure you are running PHP5.
      B) Start over, www.rockettheme.com/forum/index.php?f=15..._v=viewtopic#p501124
      C) If possible, instead of FTPing the files, upload the zipped Rocket Launcher and extract it on your server, this should take care of any missing or corrupt files.
