  • SOLVED I want to have "read more" allow public to read more

    • I am using Dominion template (latest) with Joomla 1.5.17
      I have articles with "public" (non logged in) access on my front page.
      web address is http://vivaa.ca

      When a non registered user clicks read more in a "public" article they get the redirect to login.
      I want them to have access to the full article after the Read More button is pushed.

      I cannot find any previous article that addresses this issue, although its pretty basic so I must have missed it.

      Please help.

    • What do you have set to registered and where is it published?

      Start troubleshooting by setting everything to 'Public' all Articles and Modules, and see if the error goes away.

      When redirecting to the full Article, if anything is set to 'Registered', and Article or Module on that page, it will ask for a login.

    • That was it. Thank you again. I had the article set as public, the Category set as public but the Section was Restricted. I am happy again...thanks for the prompt response.
