How to set Quasar Sidebar Height to100%

Hi, I am using Quasar for a pro-bono project and need help with making the sidebars the same height as the content...
I have set a light gray background color to the sidebar-a and -b positions. The problem is, they don't go to the bottom of the page, they are only as tall as the modules inside them. I want to set the sidebar-a and sidebar-b column heights to 100% or to the same height as the content in the middle.
I have tried setting the body for gantry and template CSS files to height: 100% as well as the container div and sidebar divs but had no luck.
Can someone please help me understand how to achieve this?
