      you've got another site still active.

      try looking in your root and see if you have an index.html, home.html, or welcome.html.

      if so either rename or delete those files. (I would recommend making back_ups into another folder other than your root.

    • the offline message says that it is unable to connect to the database server... are you positive you entered the DB information correctly?

      You might want to double check this...

    • I created a new database with a handle of something like joom2. I did the install. I started pointing the new template at joom2 and then I got locked out.

      I can't see anything that says my site is set up to be offline in CPanel.
