Scroll bars with rokwebify in internet explorer: noob

Hi, i'm a newbie at joomla and here at rocket theme. just joined recently.
i used rokwebify in one of my sites. in firefox it works great but in internet explorer the contents extends to the far right and a horizontal scroll bars appear. i am not a web designer or anything. thats why i love joomla.
how can i make the width fixed?? i think the problem is that i inserted lots of pictures. in firefox it automatically adjusted with the other pictures just lining up below the others to adjust to the width of the template. but in internet explorer the pictures lined up in one straight line. squishing the template to the right.
please help. make it as easily understandable as possible please.
