  • SOLVED Can't install Epsilon on Joomla 3.4

    • Hello!
      I bought templates Epsilon and Chimera, but I can't install it on my local web-site on Joomla 3.4.5:

      "Error
      Please enter a package folder.
      Unable to find install package"

      Installing Epsilon and Chimera on Joomla 2.5 was OK.
      Gantry 4.1.29 installed succesfuly. I can't install template, bundle or rocketlauncher - error or withe scrine. Also I tried to upload zip into the /tmp and instal from folder - no results.
      Also I tried to upload zip with template into /templates unzip it and searched it in Descover (Extantions). Nothing.

    • You need to install the Standalone Template if you already have Joomla installed... NOT the RocketLauncher... the RocketLauncher will install EVERYTHING, including Joomla, and is meant to be used on clean/empty webspace and a new/empty database... there are specific instructions for using the RocketLauncher... which is a nice way to go since it installs all the demo content and you can see how we configure everything.

      Just upload the Standalone Template via the Extension Manager like anything else if you've already got an active Joomla install you're trying to work with

    • I tried to install the Standalone Template. I have error or wite scrine.
      Templates by other companies installed ok.

    • What version of Epsilon are you trying to install? You need Epsilon 1.4 at least for Joomla 3.4.x ... Version 1.5 is the current version

    • I undestud. I have old version and it is a problem of installing. But I can't renew version, because I bought Epsilon 1,5 years ago as a membership fee to RT club.
