    • Clear out your System Cache

Make sure all other Extensions are up to date

Are you running any CCKs like Seblod, K2, or EasyBlog?

what version of PHP are you running?

Definitely post on the Joomla forums

    • on your article create page, do you see errors in console?
----go to your browsers tools > developer tools > and toggle to the Console pane

If you turn error reporting to maximum in the global config, do you see any errors on the article create page?

Definitely post any errors you find in either of those places on your joomla forum thread... you can post em here too but they may be greek to me :)

    • Yup! i have seen following errors in the console before disabling the plugin "POWr Icon"

Before disabling POWr Icon the Console errors:

      Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ILLEGAL
core.js:1 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'task' of null
      e.submitform @ core.js:1
      e.submitbutton @ core.js:1
      onclick @ index.php?option=com_content&view=article&layout=edit:2219

after disabling POWr Icon plugin i still have one error in the console but the article actions work fine now

      After disabling:

      index.php?option=com_content&view=article&layout=edit:49
      GET http://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/plugins/content/powrshortcodes/powr_joomla.js

there is another plugin named "POWr Shortcodes". It may be because of that

    • good deal!

thank you for posting your solution as well, it may just help another member someday.

If a thread is solved please edit your *original/first* post and place "[SOLVED]" (no quotes; but you do need the brackets) at the beginning of your post title. Changing the post icon to the Solved Checkmark is helpful too. :)
