    SOLVED Using Roksprocket for Testimonials

Posted 8 years 10 months ago
    • I plan on using roksprocket for testimonials on our site. I have a module on the homepage that displays 2 testimonials at a time in the quotes layout. I'd like to have a link to a testimonials page alongside this module. This testimonials page shows all testimonals (with pagination and slightly different options). However, I don't want to have to put the same testimonial quotes into two separate modules.
Is there any way for two roksprocket modules to share the same content? I'm also open to any better way to achieve the same end result.

    • I'm struggling to understand that. Could you please post a URL to your site (this can be done in the secure area tab if you prefer) so we can look for you. Without a link to page where the problem is on your site it is quite hard for us to provide the best solution due to so many variables. We try to provide file names and line numbers for code changes and if changes have already been made then our advice may be incorrect.

Please do a screenshot of your problem and annotate to make it clear.

      Regards, Mark.

    • What data provider are you using on the roksprocket quotes module? If you use joomla as the data provider (rather than simple) then you won't have to key anything twice? You would set up the articles once, you could even categorise the articles into two categories. one called "all testimonials" with a sub category of "home page testimonials", use the subcategory for the roksprocket on the home page and the "all testimonial" category for the testimonial page.

      Is that what you mean?

      Regards, Mark.
