RokBooster non well formed numeric value

I have been in the process of ugrading PHP, Apache, Joomla, etc and rebuilding an older J2.5 website in a test environment on my local machine. After turning on the display of module positions, http://localhost/fotrj3/index.php/en/?tp=1, I get the following message at the top of the website: "Notice: A non well formed numeric value encountered in C:\xampp\htdocs\fotrj3\plugins\system\rokbooster\lib\RokBooster\Compressor\Processor\YUI.php on line 831". Disabling RokBooster in the plugins eliminates the problem and message.
Using XAMPP local installation with:
Theme: Ambrosia (v1.1.0 / rt_ambrosia)
Gantry 5,
Windows NT STEVE-LAPTOP 6.1 build 7601 (Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1) i586,
Joomla 3.7.4 Stable [ Amani ] 25-July-2017 11:11 GMT,
Joomla Platform 13.1.0 Stable [ Curiosity ] 24-Apr-2013 00:00 GMT,
PHP 7.1.7,
Apache/2.4.26 (Win32) OpenSSL/1.0.2l PHP/7.1.7,
Database 5.5.5-10.1.19-MariaDB,
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:54.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/54.0.
Any idea as to why and how to fix? Alternative is to simply leave RokBooster disabled.

Hi Damir,
Thanks, good question. Just to be sure I redownloaded and reinstalled version 1.1.17. Upon enabling it, I get the same message. Clearing the site cache or clearing cache from the RokBooster plugin (core options) the does not help either.
I am really not too concerned because a) the site is not yet in public use and b) the site's speed is not a major issue. I am happy to leave the plugin disabled unless there is a simple fix.
