  • SOLVED Joomla Update Failure on Google Chrome

    • Hello guys,

      Not a request but a comment. For a while now I'd been running into issues when updating Joomla on my sites. Googling it came up with sort of insane solutions and only downloading the package and uploading by drag and drop would work. Not the automatic update from the control panel.

      Today I found out that this seems to be a Chrome issue than a Joomla issue. Finally found a user that had experimented running his update on Safari and sure enough, worked as expected.

      Just to put it out there in case anyone is running into this issue.
