    System - Gantry 5 plugin

    • Hi, I am working towards updating my site to Joomla 4 and the pre-update checks are showing the plugin could cause problems.

      I have the latest Gantry 5 installed 5.5.16

      Is it safe to go ahead with this warning?

    • Should be. Take backups, be prepared to start over from a backup if something goes wrong.

      You can also uninstall it, migrate/upgrade to Joomla 4, then reinstall Gantry 5 fresh. It does not contain any settings or customizations for your particular site/theme; it's the engine that powers the theme and it can be uninstalled/reinstalled as needed.
