    Afterburner - tighten padding

    Posted 15 years 2 months ago
    • I've borrowed the pic from the forum here as I have the same question on how to tighten up the padding in the Afterburner Front Page. There was no solution oftered in the thread by the asker who later found the solution -

      I've made some headway with the padding by tweaking components but I'm still missing on the big gap at the top of the Welcome. Also tweaking the components seem to have caused the component titles in relation to the para to become uneven.

      Development site here -

      Btw anyone got a link to a good horizontal menu mod or other that's not using jquery?

      Cheers,
      Btw

    • The layout I see in my browser with the layout you posted in your thread is a bit different. Could you please check my screenshot and confirm if it's the space you want to remove?

    • Please change "remove" for better control. As I pointed out in the bottom of my 1st post, I was able to tweak some of the spacing but whatever I did has caused the component titles to have different spacing Compare New Web Site title to Player Tryouts title.

      Also whnt controls the spacing for the Welcome to. Near as I can figure is that it's the same as the Modules. Hence it I change Wecome which is a custom html mod is change the setting for all the mods like Search and Volunteers Needed.

      Also does RT have a horizontal menu like the one I'm using as some of us like these types of menus as they don't overflow onto the artwork of the site.

      Great template and so fast!!!

      Cheers

    • There is the article separator that you might not need. You may remove it. Open your light3.css at:
      <Joomla Root>/templates/<your template name>/css/light3.css

      At the end of the lines, add below codes:
      span.leading_separator {display: none;}
