Mobile Menu - Reset after tapping back onto the website

    • Is there a way to modify the JS/CSS on the mobile menu (Hydrogen theme) to reset the nav after tap.

For example, let's say you have several child/nested menu items and go thru the following steps. On the last step, the mobile user still sees the last menu items they last looked at by default.

      1. Browse different menu items and tap into different menu levels. But don't visit the menu link.
      2. Tap outside the offcanvas to get back onto the website.
      3. Tap the mobile menu again.....when you do this, Gantry 5 keeps the last active menu items you last looked at. So if you are several levels deep into a menu, we don't want mobile users to have to tap their way back onto the main menu.

What can you do so it keeps resetting back to the top menu? I know that a hard refresh resets everything for the user, but is there a way to do this without refreshing the page?

    • You would have to write some jQuery of your own to provide that functionality.

This is considered as a customization request which falls way beyond the scope of this support forum. You can always try to post your request in our The Marketplace forum and get (paid) support from someone that is willing to do this.
