    Is there any Gantry tutorial?

Posted 12 years 11 months ago
    • Hi!

Is there any Gantry FW tutorial available? Something that shows best practices to get you started. I have poked around a bit with it but I want to know exactly what I do, and how it should be done, before I start for real :)

      Cheers!

    • Thanks for your quick reply.

I have looked through that site before, I had missed some written tutorials though (I don't like most of the videos. Perhaps someone should talk and explain instead of that annoying music? :) ).

      Some questions.

      1. What I do is that I install the Gantry library with rt_gantry_j15 template and use that template as my starting point, editing it as I wish? The Gantry library can be upgraded separately?

      2. If I want to rename the template, is there any special procedure to this? When I was fiddling around with it a while ago I renamed it and when I installed the RokNavMenu it didn't work because it didn't find any "rt_gantry_j15" template...

      Best Regards

    • Ok, thank you.

I'm not authorized to view the forum you link to though.

I will give Gantry a go in my upcoming two projects so expect to hear more from me here ;)

      Best Regards
      Linus
