custom module on the bottom of sidebar

Hello,
I use the last gantry in joomla 1.7.
In the sidebar-a, I want to position a custom module systematically at the bottom right of rt-mainbody, just over rt-footer. However currently it is positioned normally at the top right of the rt-mainbody under the rt-menu.
I tried putting in cssbut this is not conclusive.{position: absolute; bottom: 0px;}
Can you help me find a solution?

I had a module class suffix "_rsd" and create 2 class :
.custom_rsd {position:absolute; bottom: 0px;}
._rsd{position:relative;}
but now it is above the rt-mainbody and not aligned with the bottom of it.
