Is my installation bad?

    • While waiting for an answer to my other post, I have another issue that I need addressed.

Enclosed is a couple of images of what I see when I go to my template management area. I assume this is indicative of an installation gone bad, and if so, does anyone have an recommendations on how to fix it without taking my site offline?

Also, when I go to the template management -> Templates, I see this:

      I'm grateful for the help.

    • Perhaps permission issues or missing files?

    • Not that I can tell, so far, though the layout issue with the Templates styles listing is fixed. Can't say how I did it, though.

    • No. I'm still having a problem with the control panel. The layout still looks broken.

While I have your attention, I also posted about a problem with broken access to CSS for other Gantry templates whenever I turn on SEO-friendly URLs in Joomla.

    • I'm still having concerns about my installation. I noticed today that the language .ini file never got installed in the en-gb folder. This would seem to be the cause of my option descriptions not displaying properly. For instance, instead of it showing Gantry Cache it shows GANTRY_CACHE. So, I manually installed the .ini file, and it still doesn't change.

Also, I can't use JCE on the front end of my site. Selecting the image editor generates a Server Error. I don't know if this is a Gantry thing, but the JCE works fine on the back end.

I'm at a loss and I'm on the verge of doing an extremely tedious complete reinstallation of Gantry in hopes of clearing this issue. Can anyone give me any advice here?

    • Thanks for the help, Kat, but I was able to iron things out.

I'm not sure this is mentioned in any of your documentation, but when I installed extra instances of Gantry for other sections of my website, I failed to create new corresponding versions of the language .ini file.

The above was happening because that Gantry instance was not connecting to its own .ini language file.
