  • Gantry upgrade to 3.2.19 - Fatal Error

    • Hello - I upgraded the Gantry library to 3.2.19 through the Joomla 2.5 extension manager on 5/24 and it appeared as everything went through okay. Today I visited my site and I am getting the following Fatal Error:

      I spoke with my web host and they said that somewhere in the script the full path is getting truncated and I needed to speak with the developer of the script. This is the second time this has happened to my website since I have been using Gantry.

      I have tried uninstalling Gantry and reinstalling with no change. Please advise ASAP!

    • I went back to a previous backup of my template, and now the site is showing properly again. Any thoughts as to why this would be? I would prefer to avoid this problem from happening again. Thank you.

    • I compared the broken template folder to the previous backup that was working, and the main difference I found was in the template-options.xml file. Over 500 lines were missing in the broken version that were there before the upgrade to Gantry 3.2.19. Could there be something in the Gantry upgrade process that would cause this to happen? I did not make any changes to the template - and I certainly did not delete anything in template-options.xml file.

      Any thoughts on this is appreciated - and I hope this information helps in the future development of Gantry.

      Currently my site is working - and I am running Joomla 2.5.4 and Gantry 3.2.19 with Paradox.
