    • Hi,
how to add a responsive menu for each language?... you know, I must create a menu for language.
and the only responsive menu is add from Gantry admin.

is there a way to replicate that menu, for all languages?

      Regards

    • You have to create a template style for each language.
In each style you have to choose the lang-specific-menu.
You need to assign the language specific styles to language specific menu-items ...

    • I duplicate gantry
new name, Gantry default (es-ES) - for spanish language

      from Gantry admin,
I assigned to language menu (assignaments) - spanish menu
in menu, public fusion menu, select the menu (Spanish) and position

      That's all, thanks Henning!

Assing the template style to each menu item is a very time consuming task if you have big menus...
is there a quicker way to do it? Maybe through phphmyadmin... but I 'm not an expert, in this case please suggest the exact query to run.

    • it's very easy imho. In gantry you have a tab "assignments".
Just check all the ones you want the template style to be assigned to.

mhhh... I have gantry 4.0.5, Kirigami template on joomla 2.5.x
and I don't see any "assignments" tab...

I do see instead a dropdown menu with name "default"
      and options: "no, all, english,italian"
This image is hidden for guests.
Please log in or register to see it.

does it have anythign to do with multilanguage menus?

    • Well, yes! it seems that that dropdown menu was the right option to manage multilanguage menus...

now I noticed another issue, when I am visiting the site in english (non-default language)
and I click on "home" menu item, I get redirected to the homepage in default language (which is italian) how can I correct this?
