Global Configuration (Unable to Save)

- I have been trying to change a few settings and save them but the only button that will work is Cancel. I can make changes to the Adminstartion -> Site -> Global Configuration but when I click Save or Save & Close.... Nothing Happens but will Cancel just fine and bring me back to the main Administration Page

Up to now have you been able to create articles, add menu items and perform other tasks?
Have you recently made any changes, installed 3rd party software or updates?
If not, your install may be corrupt, or you may have failed some of the server requirements.
Questions
What Joomla version are you running?
What template version are you running?
What version of Gantry are you running?
Please check that all of the above are the most recent versions installed.
Also check permissions. Site >> System Information >> Directory Permissions
All should be green. Files should be 644, Folders 755. Check ownership as well.
The recommended minimum requirements are:
PHP 5.2.17+ (5.3+ recommended)
MySQL 3.23 (5+ recommended)
Apache 1.3 (2.2+ recommended)
mod_mysql
mod_xml
mod_zlib

I discovered the problem was IE. I switched to Chrome and the problem disappeared.
