Cache in Gantry 4 & j3.0

I have read the cache article pinned and it appears to need an update as some of the listed items no longer exist or have moved.
My question is how I can turn off the caching mechanism of Gantry in the new Gantry 4 framework altogether? I do not see anything in the template config screen that allows me to control caching other than in the menu section, which seems to only control the menu cache, with this option disabled Gantry still generates cache files.
I would really like an updated explanation of how caching works seeing as Gantry has changed quite a bit and the new RokBooster plugin is now used. But please at least let us at least know how to disable gantry caching for development, I am not a fan of hitting the clear cache button every 10 seconds.

The question of Justin B has not been answered for nearly 3.5 months although it may be of interest for other users too where the cache controls for Gantry have gone?

I have the same issue. I can't find cache settings in Gantry 4x in Metropolis.
Any update please?

I usually set up new templates by making a copy of my site and just do it on the server and later when I get how I like it I move it over to the new site. So I'm trying to update my site; I'm now running Joomla 3.2 and the newest gantry. It's very hard to see changes I have to delete cache every time. I have searched for how to turn of Gantry cache to no avail. I've looked everywhere I can think of. Searched here and googled no luck.
Does anyone have a handel on this.
There is no admin access to Gantry that I can see. It had that a couple of years back when I last used a RocketTheme template.
Any help would be appreciated.
I turned off cache anywhere I can find it and it still bulds for Gantry and gantryless.
