    Invalid extension update when updating to 4.1.9

    • Just updated to Joomla! 3.1.0 and I can't get the Gantry update from 4.1.7 to 4.1.9 to install. The updater is giving me "Invalid extension update". Is there something simple I'm missing?

    • Just incase anyone needs this, I downloaded the update from here:

      www.gantry-framework.org/download

      I grabbed the first one (from a previous version to 4.1.9) and installed it and it appears to be working.

    • Same problem today, updated joomla to 3.1 before gantry. Used the link from EyeSeeTV and it updated correctly from 4.1.0 to 4.1.9

      Select this as download: "Gantry Framework for Joomla 2.5 + 3.0" is this problem refers to you.

    • I'm having the same issue from gantry 4.1.8 to 4.1.9 running Joomla 3.1.1. Any help on this would be appreciated!

      I can confirm this in J3.1.1 and I've submitted a ticket to our internal bug tracker about this issue.
      For now just use the Joomla Upload Package File dialogue to update Gantry as that remains unaffected.

    • It's now May 9th, and I too, using Joomla 3.1.1 can not update to Gantry 4.1.10. I get the following errror message: "Invalid extension update". Is this going to be fixed? If so, is there an ETA on this?

    • Just install the gantry update like you install any module and it works fine.. just dont use the auto update from the site or it wont work..
