Im currently running Rocktheme template (Garnty framework) with Easy Social, Easy Blog, and Easy Discuss... The Garnty framework is not allowing me to access the ES, EB, and ED module positions.. In particular.. Is there any way to override the Granty framework??
As I don't use any of those extensions I am not familiar with their module positions. However, Joomla has always been a CMS which is templated and by default you can only use positions included in the template that is going to display the website.
The only method to avoid that is loading modules inside articles using the {loadposition name-here} option.
There are also 3rd party extensions to display modules with far greater control and flexibility, such as modulesanywhere by nonumber.nl
Hope this helps

Im using a RocketTheme template as my main home... But the other templates are from stack ideas.. Easy Social, Easy Blog, and Easy Discuss... I'm forced use the designated module positions that my RockeTheme template has for ever page on my website... I will like to have the ability to place modules in designated spots that Easy Social, Easy Blog, and Easy Discuss has also.. Thanks for your help.. I really appreciate it!!
Yes, I understood that from your first post but I still don't understand what exactly is the issue with assigning modules to the Easy extension templates? I need that info to understand what exactly is going on
I can assign modules to the Easy template but only from the Granty module positions.. Not the assign positions thats designated to the EasySocial modules.. What info can I provide to help me resolve the problem?
I think that you expect that module positions defined in the Easy templates will show up in the module positions list when you want to assign a module to them. That is actually not the case and this can't be because those templates are not website templates. Those templates are component templates. If you want to use module positions defined in those template, just write module positions freely in the module position text field and don't use button to choose existing module positions
