some gantry classes not working on my template

Hi all,
I've been looking on the the forum for an aswer, I find a topic relating this but no aswer was given.
my site is running joomla 3 (core and extentions are all up to date) - with the RT Nebulae template.
I have this issue : some gantry classes are not working (class .lead don't work for example)
the code :
<p class="lead">some content</p>
dont change the text from a standard P tag
some other gantry classes are not functionning ... I can't list them all as I did not tried them all...
I've also been trying some classes from fontawesome (I can't have a button with .btn class)
I have also this issue using classes from the twitter bootstrap...
maybe this is normal?
please help...!

- Please post a URL to your site so we can look for you. Without a link to the page where the problem is on your site it is quite hard for us to provide the best solution due to so many variables. We try to provide file names and line numbers for code changes and if changes have already been made then our advice may be incorrect.

uh oh ...
what do you mean Igor?
I took these classes from the gantry website, and the button from fontawesome website...
I used the rocketlaucher with joomla 3.2 ... the template Nebulae v1.9 and the Gantry v4.1.24 all up to date.
the only thing is that the template is bundled with old 3.2.1. fontawesome version but it should not interfer with the gantry defined class.
I have noticed this topic on the forum, but the aswer might be hidden (secure mode with mod squad)

Yes, I took this class on the Gantry website.
In fact, I was looking for further more informations than the ones given on the template-demo-site.
for example, I was trying to understand the classes controlling the grid system, because I have seen many classes in the demo site's articles that was not fully explained in the demo site.
I thought that the template had its own specific classes explained in the demo site, and that I had to look after gantry documentation to go further (as I needed for example to go on the fontawesome site to learn how to use it)
And what about the fontawesome classes ? do you think I should open a topic for it ?
