Details about touch enabled gantrydropdown menu?

Hi,
can someone provide me details how I can enable "touch" for the dropdown menu (roknavmenu) for tablet devices?
The hover effect does not work on touch devices and the small "smartphone" toggle menu is not appropriate either for tablet screens.
It seems like gantry supports touch devices but what exactly do I have to do to enable it? - Last Edit: 7 years 7 months ago by Christoph Hagedorn.

Yes, I think too now that it is not possible.
So I change my question: How can I determine if the device is touch enabled?
Is there something included in Gantry4 I can use?
