Hiya my site has gone down and I'm getting a "String could not be parsed as XML" error.
Warning: SimpleXMLElement::__construct() [simplexmlelement.--construct]: ^ in /xxxxxx/xxxxxxx/xxxxxxx/xx/xx/ic/xxxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/gantry/core/gantrytemplatedetails.class.php on line 44
I haven't updated anything recently and not sure why it has happened
I have locked it down to Gantry. I tried installing an older version. Removing it and reinstalling it. Updating it. Contacting my hosting company to check they hadn't done anything their end. Sadly with no luck.
I have seen posts regarding this in Joomla but none answered for WordPress.

- Ok so the answer was to replace the templatedetails.xml and gantrytemplatedetails.class.php. I found this buried in a post. It has taken me 7 days to find this MYSELF!. I am posting this for anyone who has the misfortune to have this happen to them.
