Gantry Session Start Error

    • Hi,

      I have done a fresh install of Wordpress 3.3.1 on my site using Rocket Launcher. After installing the latest version of Gantry and two different Rockettheme templates I am getting the following error.

      This is the long list of errors, you can see the site as it sits now at http://hiwirecreative.ca/hit/

      I have done some searching on forums, but am unable to find an answer to this problem. If I use a default theme the errors go away, But I can't even access my dashboard now as these errors come up in the backend as well.

      Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    • After doing some soul searching, oh and google searching, I couldn't help but think everything goes back to the first error and that it can't get to a temp folder on the godaddy server. So I called godaddy and asked them to look at the error, they took one look at it and said "give me 30 seconds" and when they came back a site refresh fixed all the errors.

      The explanation was that some Wordpress plugins (gantry) need access to a hidden temp folder in the root directory. This is not available by default and they need to update the permissions or add the folder (whatever it was) and it's all good.

      So, problem solved... now back to my soul. :roll:
