Running WP 3.4.1, buddypress 1.6.1, php5
I have tried the default Gantry template, tried the free RT Grunge template, tried RT Tachyon, all with the same result.
I have the latest Gantry framework, the Gantry buddypress plugin, all the plugins required for the templates I have tried. It always gives the same error in the admin pages, and on the front-facing pages, it has no content, no css, nothing except the user greeting, and the contents of the latest posts widget.
Since it's doing the same thing with multiple templates, I'm assuming it's not the template, but rather a Gantry issue?
I noted that someone else had this issue a while back and got no solution and went with something else when they did not get a response, and I'd really rather not have to do that... Can someone please help? Thanks.
UPDATE: I installed the rocketlauncher version, to see if that made a difference. I then installed buddypress and the required plugins for it on that install, and while the theme itself works, the buddypress pages do NOT work, they are blank, empty pages with no source code showing and no error message.. - single source solutions for small businesses

Usually that error occurs because Gantry is not activated. Please check that it is enabled in the plugin manager, and the error should go away.
As for BuddyPress, the Gantry BuddyPress plugin ( wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gantry-buddypress/ ) is not yet compatible with BP 1.6. The dev team is already working on an update for the plugin to fix the issue. For now, try version 1.57 of buddypress which works with the compatibility plugin, and update it when the new version of Gantry BuddyPress plugin comes out, and it will work fine. - Please don't PM unless requested

Gantry is indeed activated. Already checked on all the plugins to make sure all required ones were activated.
I will try using an older version of buddypress and see if that solves the issue or not. I will report back. thanks. - single source solutions for small businesses
