  • Gantry + theme won't install in WP error missing style.css

    • Can anyone help,

      I can't install the gantry framework or theme sources, Wordpress 3.4.2 is complaining :cry:

      Unpacking the package…

      Installing the theme…

      The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

      Theme install failed.

    • Hi,
      Please make sure that you're installing the right package. To install the Gantry Framework plugin you must go to Plugins -> Add New, and to install a Gantry-powered theme you must go to Themes manager and select the install tab on the top. They are two separate installers each only capable of installing one or the other.
