Unable to load an outline through the layout manager...

I am unable to load a user created outline whilst using the layout manager.
I am building a site for a client, im building out a universal outline for all of the products they sell with the assumption i could load it into another outline ready for them to add content. To explain that better, i will load the template outline into the product's outline so all the particles are in place ready for the client to add content.
When i try to load the outline, it loads for a while but no particles are placed in their relvant positions. Has anyone else encoutered this problem? I'd really like to avoid building the same pages out over and over again.

When you create a new Outline from existing the Settings are copied but the Layout Manager is not (I think I'm right about this). Outline Inheritance is coming soon which will allow settings and layout's to cascade from Parent to Child outlines... watch for new Gantry 5 updates.
In the meantime you can create a YAML file with all of your presets:
docs.gantry.org/gantry5/advanced/creating-layout-presets - SEARCH the forum first! These boards are rich in knowledge and vast in topics. This includes searching just the 'Solved' forums, using Google, and using ChatGPT
