How come the footer background color changer in the template manager also controls the Navigation menu module background color?
FYI - I'm testing both the Rocket Launcher Gantry-Template package and gantry template by itself.

Hi there,
Is there any news on this, since I'm having the same problem...?
I'm a noob at Gantry, but am not completely lost at css, allthough this one i havn't been able to figure out yet... I really hope someone can help, since i have a site for a client with a deadline on wednesday...
Using the default Gantry (latest release) template with custom css...
I need a white bg for the menu in general, since i have put a specific bluish bg color for the " #rt-menu .rt-container .menutop.level1 " inside the rt-menu (it has to appear to be floating without boundaries) but there's no where in the gantry manager to change this.
I have then put the footer bg color to white, which fixes the menu problem, but i need the footer to have a different color (NOT white but the same color as the BG in ".menutop.level1") and also a bg image... But for ALL of the container inside the copyright position, not just the articles inside...
When i try to add specific css for the color (havn't tried the bg image yet), nothing happens... Still white BG.
I must be doing something in the wrong way, but as for now, i can't figure out what...
If i've explained the problem badly, let me know and I'll try to clarify, but up until now i have tried to target both the" t-menu .rt-container" and the " #rt-copyright .rt-container " with various kinds of specificity and suffix as well, in order to change the BG colors and nothing helps...
Can anyone help/clarify?

Can it really be that no one have an idea to this?
Should be simple, but I must miss something in my specificity of the css..... Need help to the correct syntax

I tried it with this nice tutorial, but no succces...

After achieving to add some new possibilities to gantry for editing the top section the backend still works, but the frontend does not load anymore.
even after deleting all the ganrty files...
This is the link, but actually I asked my hoster to overwrite everthing with the latest backup.
