Gantry Problem on 1&1

I just copied testsite1 to the same server under testsite2. Created testdb2 and copied all the original Joomla/Gantry stuff to testsite2. After the mandatory configuration changes in configuration.php the Gantry Template Admin page still does not show correctly on the testsite2.
What is missing on testsite2 but shows correctly on testsite1?
Gantry v3.0.12 No update available - Missing in action!!!
Diagnostic Status - Success - Missing in action!!!
Menu Items - Missing in action!!!
All the rest shows more or less correctly although Many of the button Icons are somehow missing.
I cleared the cache and removed and reinstalled Gantry. No use. Permissions are server default and same on both test sites.
What am I missing? -

Ok. Now I noticed this message on the bottom left corner of the Gantry template Admin page.
Menu Assignment
Menus: Cannot assign default template. -

That is not an error. If you are only going to use one template then you can ignore that message. - Please reply with a direct link to the issue & create a new thread for each new issue.
A template is only as good as the content that goes into it

It looks to me like Gantry is still looking something from the old testsite1 path.
Thats probably why some of the 'On/Off' button 'icons' are missing. (Only x marks on their place.)
It's impossible to get this info to show on testsite2.

did you try downgrading to gantry 3.0.11? see here:

if that does not help then something went wrong when you moved/copied the site.
you should try akeeba backup in that case.
