gantry enable on strato server ?

Hi
i made an install of the tachyon rocketlauncher on a strato webserver
the install itself works, i can enable a standard template, for example beez
but when i set the tachyon template to default i get this message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /pages/45/cd/d0006996/home/htdocs/sixtention/components/com_gantry/core/gantry.class.php on line 31
i made a new install of the gantry frame, but still the same error message
the gantry admin didnt work, when i click on the template in admin-back i see the gantry only in textversion an in the last line the following message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /pages/45/cd/d0006996/home/htdocs/sixtention/components/com_gantry/admin/elements/gantry.php on line 51
i am happy for a solution

my fault, i forget, that i have to copy a htaccess file in the directory to change the php version
