New to Gantry - want to add menu text color option

Joomla 2.5 - Gantry 3.2.16
I have added the mywidth to my gantry site. By placing the php file into the features dir and editing the template-options.xml file.
Question: How hard would it be to add an option to change the text link color in the fusion menu
For example, on the style or menu tab of the template manager - id like to have a place to change the color of the menu text. How would I go about doing this?

Hi, it's really not too difficult at all, see this tutorial:

You just need to identify the css element you wish the color chooser to change and add that to the styledeclaration.php file. If you're using the Gantry template, look in style1.css, about the only thing in there by default is the menu styling, line 21 controls the color of the menu items.
