How to change tab titles

Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help? I've looked on several forum threads here, as well as the Joomla forum, but without any luck. I'm apologising in advance if there is already an answer out there - I've looked hard, promise!
I'm currently running a Joomla 1.5 site using the Cloudbase 2.0 template on Gantry Framework, with K2, hosted with HostGator: http://www.fromhere2timbuktu.com .
I want to change the browser tab titles to reflect the page titles.
Via menu manager I've changed the Page Titles via Parameters (System) and set them to 'Show', but while the title appears on the page, e.g. http://www.fromhere2timbuktu.com/about-from-here-2-timbuktu , the tab title doesn't change - it always remains as 'From Here 2 Timbuktu'.
After differing advice from other forums and moderators, I've tried setting both the system and template caches to either on or off (different forums and moderators have proposed both options). Neither of these has any effect.
HostGator can't help me as they say it's a third party issue.
Cloudaccess - the designers of the Cloudbase 2.0 template - can't help me because my site isn't hosted with them (they told me to contact RocketTheme!)
Any help or advice most gratefully received!
