    • Hi Nanci,
Gantry Framework is free and released under the GPLv2.0 license.
I don`t want "paid support", this forum is open, non-payment, so I post here... if anyone would like to help, you are welcome!
This information is posted on google groups gantry, and many people creating new structures from Gantry, especially web responsive concept.

      This is Open Source! 8)

    • I' experimenting with

      1. respond.js (mediaqueries for ie ...)
      github.com/scottjehl/Respond

      2. CSSential.js
      github.com/scottjehl/eCSSential

      3. selectivizr-min.js
      unbelievable helpful ...

      4. dropping all that mainbody source-ordering code (push-pull stuff is sooo old school)
Instead I'm treating the component area as a module via a gantry feature.
So I can set the component where I want ... footer or header ... everything is possible.

      ...

    • Interesting Henning, you have a test site for check it?
Look this? semantic.gs/ what you think?

Bootstrap will be the framework for Joomla! 3.0, but obviously not the only... Gantry is my framework for all works and web proyect. With adapt.js, goes one step for web responsive.
for me it is not essential, but is the trend in design, and customers asking for this.

What happen with Gantry in the future???

    • I have just come across this interesting project, which combines Bootstrap with Gantry to build a responsive template with Gantry features..
      What do you think?
      www.prieco.com/en/jbootstrap/about-jbootstrap.html
      github.com/anibalsanchez/jbootstrap

When do you believe we will see the Gantry 4 release, which has been said to be responsive?
Didn't care much about responsive templates myself until now, but I have to spend some time away from my desktop computer and my laptop is really old, sluggish and (really) heavy...so I am starting to see browsing through smaller devices as a more welcome prospect...

Also tried another version of Joomla template based on bootstrap, one offered by hwdmediashare.co.uk (free but one has to create an account) which worked rather good for the most part, except some javascript conflicts with a module I use that incorporates an old jQuery library (but still doesn't work even if I disable loading of this library) and an inability to add a different logo...

Anyway...looking forward to seeing this feature be incorporated...
