    • I just tried installing the J3.0 Rocketlauncher, all went well but it's not loading the front end of the site. The administrator works fine tho. On the front end I get a blank white page with:

      <jdoc:include type="head"></jdoc:include>

      Inside the body tag

    • Well that's weird Ryan. I just tried the J3.0 RL and it worked just fine. What's your server details? What PHP version, etc. Also how much memory do you have assigned to PHP? 64mb is pretty much minimum.

    • Andy,

I've had the same problem. For mine, I am using Host Gator, and I had to install a field in my .htaccess file for my reseller account to activate PHP 5.3.1, which did allow the installation to run.

I was attempting to install one of the Joomla themes (fresco) utilizing RocketLauncher. Everything seemed to go fine, and I received no errors during the installation. When finished, I could access the Joomla back end with little issue, until I attempted to go to the front page, and everything was blank, and it never comes up.

I wanted to narrow down the variables, so I installed a stand alone version of Joomla 3.0, and it worked. I then installed Gantry 4. When I attempted to view the master template configuration page, the page formatting would not work properly (as if it wasn't recognizing the css), and again it blanked out the front page and none of the site was accessible (500 error).

I checked the memory in my php.ini file and that is adequate, so I am not sure where to go from here. Any thoughts?

    • Let me clarify one thing just in case it's not clear. I still have access to the back end. The install is completely intact, and the joomla appears to be functioning normally from the back end, as long as I don't attempt to view the template details to mod the default gantry template.

Only when i attempt to view the front page does this happen. I'll give you a glimpse.

I have asked the host to look into any anomoles in the account, or any obvious errors, but they found none.

    • Bueller.... Bueller?

I copied an image of what it looks like when I attempt to go into the gantry template window...

Any thoughts on this? I'm about to scrap the whole thing. The problem with not being able to use Gantry is that most of the templates are based on Gantry. Without that working, I can't use most of the templates. I love Rockettheme. Been a member for a while and I think the work is exceptional. I would love to have this working.

      I appreciate the consideration.

    • Was this not the right place to ask a question? I guess I'll skip attempting to use 3.0 and see if I get the same results with 2.5.
