Gantry 4 is responsive - this means that Gantry can adapt to any device (including iPhone).
Test it with your desktop browser: resize the window until the menu changes

yup.. i did notice that.. but some how on the iphone it does not display properly. see the red arrow. some what it display half.
the menu does not behave like a iphone, with those dropdown..
also the top image is using rokgallery and the btm blue image is under roksproket. top image width is at least 900px and btm image with is only 270px.some how on the iphone, the smaller image is display larger.

Hey
Gantry 4 is not a Template, it is a Template Framework.
This means that you can use responsive design, but the Template build on Gantry 4 has to support it.
If you use a Template which supports Gantry 4´s responsive design feature (like eg. Gantry 4 Template) you get the compatibility to iPhone and other mobile devices.
For your template you should contact the creator for support. (If it is an RT Theme you have to wait until RocketTheme is refitting the older design´s)

- i am not sure if i understand totally. but i was using the gantry rocket launcher. so it does support right? or after i install the rocket launcher, i still have to install the gantry template?

Not all RT -templates are responsive yet.
If your RT Template is from before Aug 2012 you have to wait until a new Update is available.
or after i install the rocket launcher, i still have to install the gantry template?You can Install Gantry 4 Template but thats a new Template so you have to Customize it for your needs.
You could also use the 4 last releases from RT (Metropolis,Graffito,Fracture,Kirigami).

- hi omegatcu thanks for the info. i know what went wrong. very stupidly i fix it to 960. therefore effective i switch off the iphone version. thanks fort he info, i wont have realize it.
