Margin and Padding for rt-block and menu style

Hi all,
It might be a bit basic, but I cant find the right less to get what I need.

- For the above site I like to have more control over the margin and padding of the rt-block of the company name and the fruit banner - just for those 2 elements, in every other case, the padding and margin for rt-block is good. I like to have less white-space between them and no white borders left and right of the banner, like the attached image.
- For the menu, I cant find the rounding options in the css/less that causes the active menu item and hovered menu item to have rounded edges.
- There is also 1 white pixel between the top green line and the vertical green separators in the menu. How can I solve this?
- While loading the page, the default/original styles are loaded first before the overrides are shown, how can I avoid this? It looks a bit dodgy but don't want to override the original less files in case of updates.

Sorry about these basic questions. I just started using the Gantry Framework and it's hard to find some styles - even with FireBug. Hope you guys can give me a hand with this.
