SOLVED Hiding contents of different positions on different

Posted 12 years 1 month ago
    • Hi:

I need to hide the main body on certain category blog menu items.

These pages will have a module-only layout.

      See attached Image "Blog View"

This image is hidden for guests.
Please log in or register to see it.

I want to use RokSprocket to then link to articles that are under that category (but will not have a menu item associated with the article).

When viewing the article, I want to hide the feature-a position (which is where the RokSprocket module will be published).

      See attached Image "Article View"

      The relevant pages online are:

      Blog View: betelec.ergonomiq.net/references/administratif
      Article View: betelec.ergonomiq.net/references/adminis...10-nestle-batiment-e

Since there is no menu-item associated with each article, menu-class-suffixes don't work!

I would normally use the NoNumber Advanced Module Manager plugin to handle this sort of thing, but unfortunately, the plugin is completely incompatible with RokSprocket.

    • just try to drop the file I attached into the features folder of your template. (unpack it first)
it will give you a couple of css hooks on the body tag like the "view" ... but there is other stuff too.

Btw after adding that file you need to clear the gantry-cache.

    • Great...Thank you Henning.

This is perfect...as it adds classes like "view-article" and "view-category" as well as item ID and category ID and logged-in status info to the body. This makes it very flexible. Thank you very much.
    • Thank you.
