    Drop Down Menu

    • Hi
      I've tried to make a Drop Down Menu, but without the big luck.

      Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong.
      I use GantryFramework.

    • looks like you are using the default Joomla menu module. why not use the template controlled menu?

    • I have used it now, but the dropdown does not work.
      And how do I change the color of the menu text and the size of supmenuetext

    • okay thanks for the info. The problem is that the drop down menu iss not style or designed to work in the sidebar. It just is not used that way becuase of best practices and usability. If you want the menu to be in the side bar then use the splitmenu option instead of drop down. The dropdown option is for horizontal layout like in the navigation or header rows

    • personally I prefer the Rocket Theme template's menu systems. However, if you are really interested in some sort of slide out side menu I do not have any frame of reference as far as quality of the ones that are available but you can look here on JED extensions.joomla.org/extensions/structu...ystems/sliding-menus or perhaps open a new topic i the General discussion group or water cooler RT forums to solicit suggestions.
